AESTHETICS
CANOE THEME DESIGN
If we made canoes out of solely grey concrete, it would be a pretty boring competition. SDSU prides itself on always bringing a creatively designed canoe every competition year. We have had themes from a grizzly bear to an Aztec deity called the Quetzalcoatl. No year is the same, and that means getting to try new and fun ways to make a design.
Not only does the Aesthetics team design the look of the canoe but they also get to create fun visual displays at our competition and create new fun graphics for the tech paper to give us that slight edge over our competition. COORDINATE PROJECT DISPLAYEvery year is a fun challenge to design our stands, cross section, and table to show the judges and other teams we came to compete!
Per competition guidelines we need to a display to show our materials, stands to hold up our canoe, and a cross-section to show what our canoe is made out of. How it looks is completely up to our team. Work together with our Construction and Mix team to come together to present the best canoe at competition! |
TECHNICAL REPORT VISUALSThe technical report has gone through multiple changes throughout the years. SDSU has responded by creating uniquely designed report visuals to meet our project proposal's demands. Every year we strive to create a better report than the last.
Developing great looking visuals for the report could the small step that separate us from our competition. A great report with great content is key in catching the judges attention which will lead SDSU to victory! |
